The UC Science Policy Group is a student-run initiative open to all students at the University of Cincinnati.
Our goal is to address issues at the intersection of science, policy, education, and society in order to address and advocate for issues related to health, environment, and science education.
We pursue projects that aim to:
- Promote evidence-based policy changes at the university and local government levels
- Improve the equity/quality of academic environment for CoM students
- Provide academic and career development opportunities in areas of science policy and communication
We strive to make science more accessible to the public and to ensure that science informs policy at the university and government level.
